Abstract
Three species of Nepenthes grow on Gunung Tahan : N. gracillima Ridley, N. macfarlanei Hemsley and N. sanguinea Lindley. (The specimen identified by Danser as N. alata Blanco is shown to belong to N. gracillima). The variation shown by the G. Tahan population of N, gracillima is described and a key to the three species is given. The complex fauna which lives in the picthers is briefly described and the significance of the insect prey as a source of nutrients to the plant is discussed.
