Abstract
A total of 20 cicada species from 8 genera is recorded. Of these, all are new records for this wildlife reserve, 10 are new records for Peninsular Malaysia, and 3 to be described as new species. With these, the previous records have increased to 21 species (in 8 genera) for this reserve, 77 species (in 23 genera) for Peninsular Malaysia. Comparison of records indicate this study to be the first to record females of Tosena depicta Distant.
