Abstract

The growth rates of two young captive seladangs (Ahad) male and (Biak) female, were 18 measured. 18 measurements of both horn and body circumference ware taken from Ahad and 17 from Biak. Ahad was 18 months old, while Biak was 17 months old. During the early period in captivity, both animals were fed with powdered milk until the age of 3 weeks. After that supplementary food, mainly grasses and leaves were added.
