Abstract

Nine adult captive sambar deers (Cervus unicolor equinus) of both sexes were immobilized with Large Animal Immobilon during treatments over a period of 1 year. The average dosage rate, time and distance travellad before complete immobilization were 0.014mg/kg, 7.4 minutes and 54.8 meters raspectively.
