Abstract
Most of the 22 species of Testudines in Peninsular Malaysia are little known. This paper provides a short description of the species names, identification, habitat preference, status, food and foraging methods, breeding and nesting behaviour and some conservation comments of each species in an attempt to provide impetus for further research.
