Abstract

This paper presents result of the survey on the herpetofauna at Sungai Chenderoh, Pedok, Pahang. Forty four species of herpetofauna (21 species of frogs and toads, 13 species of lizards and ten species of snakes) were documented within the eight nights and days survey period. One significant finding from this survey was a tree frog, Rhacophorus pardalis which probably constitutes a second locality record for the country. The low number of species diversity of this taxon in the area is reflected by the short survey period.
